I just snagged this lovely dresser from Craigslist today for $25.  This was the listing pic.  Smart Jr. wants to know if I've become a furniture hoarder.  Hmmm.  I don't know.  Maybe.  Seeing as I now have a pretty big stash in the garage and haven't gotten around to painting any of the pieces yet.  But come on, she's a beauty, just as she is, and I had to have her for $25.  It has a mirror too.  Plus hubby was gracious enough to pick it up for me!  We could not live without his pickup truck, that's for sure!

It's similar to the other craigslist beauty I picked up earlier this summer for $35.  This one required NO PAINTING!  Yay!  I just slipped her into the odd space at the end of my upstairs hallway and she is now the battery/ light bulb/ gift bag center of my home.  No really!  Batteries in top left drawer, light bulbs in right, tissue paper gets its own drawer, and then gift bags.  The new system has been working out really well!

The knobs are the original glass ones and they are so nice!  Worth the $35 all by themselves.  I think you can see them better in this picture.  Maybe not.

What else?  Oh, this solid wood dresser was $30 and when I saw the picture on craigslist I knew it would be perfect for storing tools in my garage.  She probably deserves better, but she is providing a fantastic service and should be very proud of herself for that.

And in case you're wondering if all I do is buy... Of course not!  I sold this antique feed bin online for $100.  Actually, I never even listed it.  I sold it to a lady who came to buy something else I had listed and she bought this too.  Score!  I probably could have got more, but I was just glad to get rid of it.  It never worked for my intended purpose to store toys for the kids outside.  It would get lots of water and bugs in it and was just gross.  It was cool, it had hand-forged nails and all. 

Pretty good deals, right?!  Did you get any good deals recently?  Apparently I am in the dresser buying mood.  I actually bought a couple others this summer that I didn't show here.  That's kinda crazy now that I think about it!
